
Acratex® PrepTreat™ is a water-based low toxicity, Bacterial, fungal and algal sterilising treatment designed to kill film spoilage species, making it an integral component with the Roof Membrane System to be applied and left on pre-cleaned surfaces prior to subsequent coating systems.

Garden pressure atomizer
As the surface area of a "profiled roof" is greater than equivalent flat roof surface, additional material should be allowed for. All plant life should be covered when using this product.
Application procedure and equipment
Product should be thoroughly mixed before use.
Refer to the Dulux Acratex Application Manual for detailed application instructions.
Apply Dulux Acratex Prep Treat liberally to problem surface via garden pressure spray unit.
Let set for 24 hours for optimum results.
Remove any dead debris by scrubbing with a stiff bristle brush or using a garden hose with nozzle at maximum velocity.
Allow surface to dry completely before applying the correct primer/sealer then Dulux Acratex Roof Membrane.
Practical coverage at recommended film thickness
A spread rate of 12.00 sq. meters per litre corresponds to 0 microns dry film thickness assuming no loss. Practical spreading rates will vary due to such factors as method and conditions of application and surface roughness.
Apply a 2nd coat prior to painting for increased protection. Allow to dry.
