The surface must be clean and dry, free from grease, rust and dirt. Protect adjoining surfaces from overspray.
1. BEFORE SPRAYING
Shake can for at least two minutes after first rattle and regularly during use. Lower temperatures and high humidity will slow the drying and affect the gloss level. Do not spray when air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C.
2. SPRAY APPLICATION
Hold can upright 20 to 25cm from the surface. To ensure surface compatibility, test spray on an inconspicuous area. Spray with smooth, even strokes parallel to the surface. This product is formulated to resist running and sagging. It should be applied in several light coats, as opposed to one heavy coat.
Re-coating: Any time after 45 minutes.
Coverage: Up to 1.5m² per can, depending on surface.
Drying: Touch dry in 15 minutes under normal conditions.
3. AFTER SPRAYING
Prevent blocking by turning the can upside down and spraying until clear gas emerges. Also wipe front of nozzle clean. Clean up overspray while it is still wet with mineral turps.
Spray unwanted paint onto newspaper, allow to dry and dispose of remaining contents/container in accordance with local, regional, national and international regulations. If can becomes rusted or damaged dispose of carefully - obtain instructions from our website or 24hr Emergency Response Number.
