Read the Safety Data Sheet and Technical Data Sheet carefully prior to use as application or performance data may change from time to time.
PREPARATION
Scrape off loose and flaking paint. Wash with sugar soap and rinse clean.
Fill nail holes, cracks, etc. with a suitable filler. Sand smooth and dust down.
Sand gloss and semi gloss surfaces to a matt finish before painting.
Previously painted surface - Undercoat: Not required
Bare plasterboard, cement or brick - Undercoat: Berger Acrylic Sealer Undercoat
Bare set plaster or powdery surfaces - Undercoat: Berger Triple Prep® Oil Based
Bare timber -Undercoat: Berger Triple Prep Acrylic
Over enamel paint - Undercoat: Berger Triple Prep Acrylic
HOW TO USE
Stir well before use with a broad, flat stirrer. Under hot weather conditions use a hot weather additive or thin using 100mL of clean water per litre if required.
APPLICATION
Apply two coats of Apply 2 coats of Berger Premium Ceiling, ensuring that the first coat is completely dry before applying the second.
Brush/Roller
For best results, use a 50-63 mm, high quality brush and 11-18mm, synthetic or dacron roller.
Rinse brush or roller in water before starting and use while still slightly damp.
Apply full even coats direct from the container. Under hot conditions or on very absorbent surfaces, up to 100ml clean water may be added per
litre to assist application
Application should be in standard temperature conditions (above 10 °C and below 30 °C).
To achieve the best finish, ensure the paint is not worked excessively. When coating over some dark colours an extra coat may be required.
Care of new paintwork: Avoid exposure to steam and condensation for 48 hours after painting.
Airless/Conventional Spray
Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment.If necessary, thin with up to 100ml per litre of water to aid atomisation.
Spraying Advice:
Low Pressure Tip sizes: 0.015 - 0.023" @1200 -1800 PSI
Standard Tip sizes: 0.015 - 0.019" @1800-2400PSI
