Precautions and limitations

All preparation and painting must conform to AS2311: The Painting of Buildings.
Avoid exposure to steam and condensation for 48 hours after application.
Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or when the temperature of surface may fall below 10°C during the drying period. Under extremely hot conditions up to 100ml per litre of water may be added to help application.

Surface preparation
Previously painted surface

All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of all loose dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint, and loose surface plaster. Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Refer to Systems Guide for correct primer, sealer or undercoat required.

How to apply
Brush, Roller

Brush, roller, conventional or airless spray.
Stir thoroughly with a broad flat stirrer, using an upward lifting action. Apply two full coats.

Brush/Roller: Apply straight from the can. Use a medium to long nap roller. Avoid excessive brushing or rolling back into paint which has been drying some minutes.
On very porous dry surfaces, add up to 100ml water per litre to the first coat only.

Airless/Conventional Spray

Airless/Conventional Spray: Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment. If necessary thin with up to 100ml per litre of water to aid atomisation.
