Precautions and limitations

All preparation and painting must conform to AS2311: The Painting of Buildings.
Do not use at temperatures below 10°C, or when the temperature of surface may fall below 10°C during the drying period. Not recommended for application at temperatures higher than 28°C. Avoid exposure to steam and condensation for 48 hours after application. Although the film is touch dry in 30 minutes allow 7 days for film to fully cure before washing.

Cleaning schedule: After application, allow the surface to dry for 7 days prior to cleaning. Do not scrub the surface, use abrasive cleaners or solvent. The surface should be wiped down with a soft damp cloth using mild detergent such as Spray & Wipe or similar.

Performance guide
  • Weather: Designed for interior use only. Not recommended for exterior use.
  • Heat Resistance: Softens and sticks to other painted surfaces over 70°C
  • Water: Suitable for use in wet areas
  • Solvent: Sensitive to aromatic hydrocarbons and alcohols
  • Abrasion: Good wet and dry burnish resistance
Surface preparation
Previously painted surface

All surfaces must be prepared in accordance with proper trade practices and must be clean and free from dust, dirt, grease and oil.

Previously painted surfaces, except bare cement sheet, must be sanded to remove loose, peeling, flaking or chalky paint. Sand all gloss and semi gloss surfaces to a dull finish and wipe down with a damp cloth to remove surface dust. Spot prime bare areas.

Note: Take suitable safety precautions while preparing your surface, including wearing appropriate PPE. Treat mould and mildew by washing with diluted household bleach solution (one part bleach, three parts water), while wearing rubber gloves and eye protection. Wash down.

How to apply

Brush, roller, spray
Stir well before use with a broad, flat paddle using an up and down scooping action. Apply 2 coats of Dulux Professional Enviro2 Water Based Enamel Semi Gloss. Thin with up to 100ml of water per litre if necessary.

How to dispose responsibly
Unused paint
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place and and away from oxidising agents and corrosive materials. Protect from sunlight. Store away from sources of heat and/or ignition. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Unused paint: Spray unwanted paint onto newspaper and allow to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections. Empty paint containers: Empty aerosol cans are recyclable via steel can recycling programs. Disposal of empty aerosol containers via domestic recycling programs differ between local authorities.
