Rust, millscale, oxide deposits, loose or flaking paint or other foreign material on metal surfaces should be removed in accordance with the requirements of the chosen system, then apply primer, sealer or undercoat as required.

Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer, using an upward lifting action.

Brush/Roller
Apply two full coats to the prepared surface. Reduce if necessary with up to 50ml of mineral turpentine.

Airless/Conventional Spray

Airless/Conventional Spray
Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment. If necessary thin with up to 100 ml/litre of Dulux Spraying Thinner.

How to dispose responsibly
Unused paint
Unused paint: Do not pour leftover paint down the drain. Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper and allowed to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections. Empty paint containers: Leave empty paint containers open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container via steel can recycling programs. Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities. Check with your local council first. Do not reuse container unless thoroughly decontaminated.
