Drying: Avoid exposure to steam and condensation for 48 hours after application. Although the film is dry to touch in 30 minutes allow 7 days for the film to fully cure before washing.
Tinted colours: Ensure that the paint is thoroughly shaken and stirred immediately after addition of tinter to can and again before use.
All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of all loose dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint, and loose surface plaster. Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding and wipe clean with a damp cloth, then apply Primer, Sealer or Undercoat as required.
Brush, roller and spray
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer using an upward lifting action.
Brush/Roller: Use a short nap roller. Prewet brushes and roller with water before commencing application. Avoid excessive brushing or rolling back into the paint which has been drying for more than 3 minutes.
Thinning not usually required. On very absorbent/porous surfaces dampen the surface and thin the first coat with up to 100 ml of water per litre.
Under hot conditions up to 60 ml per litre of Dulux Hot Weather Thinner may be used.
Airless/Conventional Spray: Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment. If necessary, to aid atomisation, thin with up to 100 ml per litre of water for Conventional Spray and 30 ml per litre of water for Airless Spray.
