All preparation and painting must conform to AS2311: The Painting of Buildings.
Do not overspread or exceed 14 square metres per litre per coat. In hot weather, rinse brush every half hour or use two and keep one standing in water. Do not apply if temperature is under 10C, or when temperature of surface may fall below 10C during the drying period, otherwise film formation will not be complete resulting in a compromise in quality.
All surfaces must be thoroughly dry, clean and free of all loose dirt, grease, mould, mildew and wax, surface chalk and loose or flaking paint. Sand smooth, dust down, fill and prime in accordance with the requirements of the chosen system.
Interior masonry, timber and paperfaced plasterboard: wipe/dust down surface, apply 1 coat of Berger Acrylic Sealer Undercoat. For set plaster use Berger Oil Based Sealer Binder.
Brush, roller, conventional or airless spray.
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer, using an upward lifting action.
Brush/Roller: Rinse brush or roller in water before starting and use while still slightly damp. Apply two full even coats direct from the container. Under hot or windy conditions or on very absorbent surfaces, up to 100 ml of clean water may be added per litre to assist application. Avoid excessive brushing or rolling back into paint which has been drying some minutes.
Airless/Conventional spray: Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment. If necessary thin with up to 100 ml of water per litre to aid atomisation.
