
A multi-surface primer and stain blocker. Perfectly prepares a wide variety of surfaces for painting and helps block oil based stains to prevent discolouration of top coats.

Temperature must be above 10°C and below 30°C during application and drying. Avoid exposure to steam and condensation for a minimum of 48 hours.
Previously painted surfaces: Remove loose or flaking paint. Fill cracks or holes with a filler and sand smooth. Lightly sand any satin or glossy surfaces to a flat/dull finish. Clean and dust down surface. Treat any existing mould by scrubbing with a scouring pad and bleach solution (1 part bleach to 3 parts water). Leave solution on the surface for 15 minutes then wash with clean water and allow to dry.
Timber: Fill nail holes with a flexible timber filler. Sand the surface as desired. Sand any raised wood fibres to a smooth finish. Brick, Masonry, Fibro & Fibre Cement Board: Leave masonry and cement based surfaces to cure for a minimum of 28 days before painting. Wash down with water using a stiff brush to remove all loose material. Fill holes with grouting cement. Use a 5% white vinegar solution to remove any white salts that have formed on the surface. Galvanised Iron & Zincalume® Clean with Selleys® Original Sugar Soap to remove grease and dust. Thoroughly wash off with water and allow to dry.
Application tools: Brush: High quality synthetic brush.
Roller: Medium pile (10-18mm) synthetic roller.
Spray: Up to 100mL per litre of water can be added to aid spraying.
Stir paint thoroughly. Surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oils and grease. After following the preparation instructions, apply one coat of Prepare & Prime.
Clean brushes and equipment with water. Do not pour paint down the drain. Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities. Recoat: Allow 2 hours to dry before applying topcoat. Allow longer under cooler or humid conditions. Full paint hardness: 7 days, depending on conditions.
