Porter’s Black Antique Wax is a fine black polish containing beeswax, elm gum turpentine and linseed oil. Designed to protect and age most bare or painted surfaces. Black Antique Wax is designed to create an aged effect by discolouring surfaces and laying on darker in crevices, cracks and low relief areas. Buff to desired lustre.

Not suitable for use in wet areas. Do not apply in high humidity, below 10°c or above 30°c.
Follow drying time instructions from the specification of the product you are coating.
Do not apply paint if Relative Humidity is above 85% or temperature is within 3°C of Dew Point.
Do not apply if the surface temperature is greater than 30°C or below 10°C, or likely to fall below 10°C during the application or drying period.
Apply sparingly with a soft lint free cloth or fine steel wool. Ensure Black Antique Wax is sparingly and evenly applied. Before the wax is completely dry buff vigorously by hand with a soft clean cloth, or mechanically with a lamb’s wool buffer.
