Complementary products:
Porter’s Stucco Wax is compatible for use over Porter’s Interior Distemper, Porter’s Chalk Emulsion and Porter’s Fresco. Test before use as a slight colour variation may occur.
Do not apply paint if Relative Humidity is above 85% or temperature is within 3°C of Dew Point.
Do not apply if the surface temperature is greater than 30°C or below 10°C, or likely to fall below 10°C during the application or drying period.
Use either of the following methods:
Use A spatula or trowel to apply Stucco Wax sparingly, straight from the can, or use a soft lint free cloth. In both instances ensure Stucco Wax is sparingly and evenly applied.
Before the wax is completely dry buff vigorously by hand with a soft clean cloth, or mechanically with a lamb’s wool buffer.
Walls will be touch dry after buffing, and completely dry after 12 hours. For best results, buff again the following day when the wax has hardened completely.
Application tip: Apply and buff small areas at a time. If the wax is allowed to dry out completely before buffing the job will be very much harder.
