The Prep & Masking workshop gives trade painters a professional, step-by-step system for interior and exterior surface preparation and masking. This practical course focuses on selecting the right products for each task—covering tapes, fillers, caulks, cleaning solutions, sanding equipment, brushes, rollers, primers, and PPE—so you know exactly what to use and when.
On the day you will learn:
How to select the right tools and products for each task and substrate
Correct masking, gap sealing, and brush/roller techniques to specification
Building interior and exterior systems that reduce errors and improve efficiency
Safe work practices using appropriate PPE
Training sessions run for approx. 6 hours. Attend in person. Free venue parking. Tickets available from $300 + GST.

Do I need to bring my lunch?
No, lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please ensure you fill in any dietary requirements when submitting your request.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, there will be ample parking directly outside the Training Academy.
What do I need to wear/bring?
As these courses are hands-on with chemicals and equipment, it is a requirement that adequate PPE is worn during application segments of training. Please ensure enclosed footwear and appropriate clothing that may get dirty is worn. Face mask, safety glasses and gloves will be provided.
